My name is Michael Salitore. I am a public school administrator and district leader with a background in school psychology and special education. I am an experienced school psychologist, teacher and school administrator with 19 years of experience in public education. Currently, a director of student services for a school district since 2014, managing special education/ federal programs, school safety, behavioral health and administration of policy under the IDEA and ADA. As a school psychologist, I have experience in areas of assessment of children pre-k through post-high school with disabilities. As a teacher of college-age students since 2005 and a staff trainer for various school districts, I have experience and a high comfort level teaching adults complex topics. I am experienced in the field of special education and have experience in risk management, administration of services in compliance with the IDEA, report writing, presenting to adult learners, and working toward resolution in matters under dispute.
